FINALLY...we get to read some news about Galveston COUNTY law enforcement !!!! We ALWAYS hear about GPD. This is absolutely GREAT....thank you so much for the story about the Mounted Posse ! Now, if we coulld just hear some details about the Sheriffs Office & what they do for our community. We're geting there though....thanks again !!!!! Susan Evans

Ms. Evans is referring to our story about the Galveston County Constable's Posse which we stumbled upon accidently.  We would love to have more stories from the Sheriff and Constable's, however, unless there is a major event such as Baby Grace or something of that magnitude, these agencies seldom make public releases or press releases.  On the other hand, in nearby Brazoria and Montgomery counties we get them every day and you get to read them right here and in our paper.
